Presidential and B.Tech Rep Elections

November 29, 2016
The MES Presidential nominations are now open! Candidates must be in at least third year of Engineering to be eligible to run for the position. The nomination period will run from Nov. 28 to Dec. 9. The campaigning and voting periods will take place in January, and the winner will be announced at Fireball!
As the highest authority in the MES the President is responsible for oversight of the entire Engineering student body, and ensuring that the MES best serves these members. So if you feel up to the role make sure to get your nomination form in to the CRO mailbox in the BLUE Lounge!
The MES B-Tech Rep will also be elected alongside the President! The B-Tech Rep is responsible for representing the interests of B-Tech students on the MES Council, and acting as a liaison between the MES and the B-Tech Association.
The nomination period will also run from Nov. 28 to Dec. 9, so if you’re in B-Tech and want to get more involved with the MES this is the perfect way to do so! Nomination forms are due into the CRO mailbox by 5 PM on Dec. 9 and can be found at macengsociety.ca/applications.
